WHS Drama Club Opens Its 2026–2027 Season with Robert Harling’s “Steel Magnolias”
September 23–25 at Williamstown High School
With performances beginning just three weeks into the school year, students have been preparing throughout the summer and demonstrating an incredible level of commitment to the performing arts.
To help bring the world of southern Louisiana to life, the cast also worked with a dialect coach to develop authentic regional accents.
This production marks an especially exciting milestone for WHS Drama Club: its first-ever student production team. Through this new opportunity, students are stepping into leadership roles and gaining valuable, hands-on experience behind the scenes.
From the cast onstage to the student production team behind the curtain, everyone has embraced new challenges and worked together to make this production one to remember.
The production is co-directed by Maggie Quindlen and Natalie Donisi, with Lindsey Sowers serving as business manager.
