The Monroe Township School District will again be participating in our annual Teacher
Recognition Program.

This program is an integral part of our District’s initiatives to recognize our many fine teachers.
By honoring teachers’ achievements, this annual program aims to help increase the stature of
teaching, attract talented people to teaching careers, and encourage experienced teachers to
remain in the profession.

Revised MTPS 2025/26 Calendar

Dear Monroe Township School Community,
I am writing to inform you of a revision to the 2025–2026 school calendar to accommodate make-up days resulting from recent school closures due to snow.

The following days have been designated as make-up days for all district schools:

  • Monday, February 9, 2026
  • Monday, February 16, 2026
Both dates will be early dismissal days for all students in the district. District teachers will have afternoon In-Service.

The revised school calendar is attached to this message and is also available on the district’s website for your reference.

I would also like to remind families that the school calendar is subject to change pending weather conditions and emergency situations.

Thank you for your continued support, flexibility, and partnership as we work together to ensure a safe and successful school year for all students.
