Meet Our New Principal: Mrs. Donna Sanfilippo
Oak Knoll Elementary School
I am absolutely thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Oak Knoll Elementary School! As someone who grew up right here in Williamstown, it is an incredible honor to return home and serve the very community that helped shape who I am today.
My husband Emanuel and I have been married for 30 years and are proud parents of three amazing children: Manny (28), Santino (26), and Talia (16). My roots in this community run deep, and I am so excited to once again be part of Monroe Township Public Schools.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Temple University in 1996 and later received my Master’s Degree in School Leadership from Wilmington University in 2017. With over 20 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles that have prepared me for this next chapter.
I began my teaching career at Radix Elementary School, where I spent 13 wonderful years as a first-grade teacher. I then served as a K–12 Instructional Support Coach for three years before stepping into administration. In 2018, I accepted a vice principal position at Hope Community Charter School in Camden, NJ, and most recently, I spent three years at Lakeside Middle School in Millville.
Now, I’m overjoyed to be back in Williamstown and to join the Oak Knoll family. Our school’s new motto—“Learning, Growing, Thriving – Together, Side by Side”—reflects my core belief that just as it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to educate one.
I look forward to working alongside our incredible faculty and staff, and to building strong partnerships with parents, community members, local businesses, and all stakeholders. Together, we will nurture and prepare our students for success—at Oak Knoll, Williamstown Middle School, Williamstown High School, and well beyond.
